Jura, I have memories of our meeting - the patterns of my encounters here written with my body. The Isle of Jura is part of the Inner Hebrides of Scotland and I was  remembering meandering along the  shoreline. The silver sands, rippling waves in all shades of blues and greens, reflections of land and sky; glimpses of sea creatures, seaweed and debris suspended in the clear waters; mutability of place, space and time.  

ECHOES OF THE SEA series: Fabrications of seas and oceans; rocks and waves and creatures, and sounds and smells and feelings; under, over and on top of.  I let my body, my spirit, sink into the making, guiding my hands to shape forms.
