Orientations of Selfhood 2 extends my sculptural exploration of the body as a site of tension, resilience, and continual becoming. The form twists into itself, holding the sense of a gesture caught mid turn — a looped structure suggesting both containment and emergence. Its rugged, glossy black exterior, marked with seemingly ancient symbols, contrasts with flashes of sparkling blue within.

ORIENTATIONS OF SELFHOOD is a series exploring how identity is shaped through movement—physical, emotional, and migratory. Humans adjust how they position themselves to face the world, dependant on situation. The works are designed to be viewed in multiple orientations. #sensuouspractice
